Network Activities
This section of the website provides information about the Network’s current activities:
Members of the UK Healthy Cities Network must as part of their accreditation have political sign up and support at a local level. As part of their commitment to the Healthy Cities movement each town, city or local authority have a nominated elected member who work alongside the city co-ordinators to support and champion the Healthy Cities movement at a local level. These elected members form the Network Politicians Group
The section on Network Themes provides information about our thematic sub-groups and collaborations. It includes any relevant documents such as the group’s Terms of Reference, meeting notes and current work/action plans along with details about how to get involved.
The section on Learning and CPD provides information about our Themed Learning Events and Webinars which are held throughout the year. Both are open to individuals working in our member cities and towns.
Network meetings are also held throughout the year and are open to named Coordinators from our member cities and towns. We also encourage individuals from cities or towns that are interested in membership to attend a meeting to find out more about the Network and its benefits.
