Network Meetings

The UK Healthy Cities Network holds three network meetings per year which bring together members to network and share ideas, knowledge and skills. Meetings offer members access to peer support and opportunities to exchange information and develop collaborative approaches.

The meeting format is highly interactive and involves group discussions and workshops.  It has been carefully designed to meet the requirements of the membership and briefly comprises:

Network Business Meeting

This session offers the opportunity for members to inform national and European developments and for the Network to provide updates and act as conduit for the dissemination of relevant information.

Learning and Development Session

Thematic learning and development sessions are designed to enable members to master new ideas, facilitate the transfer of knowledge into practical solutions and stimulate debate. These sessions include expert input and facilitation where appropriate, case study presentations and group discussions.

Networking

Meeting agendas are designed to maximise networking opportunities both throughout the planned sessions and more informally over lunch and breaks.

Meetings are hosted by member cities and towns and take place across the UK.  See below for information on future and past meetings. In addition to regular network meetings, the UK Healthy Cities Network will hold a range of other events such as themed learning events and thematic sub-group meetings in response to the needs of the membership.
