How does my city become a member of the Network?
If you would like to find out more about the Network, attend meetings and /or receive updates from the Network please . To become a full member of the Network towns and cities are required to demonstrate they meet our membership criteria. For more information see our membership page.
How often does the UK Healthy Cities Network meet?
Network meeting are held three times per year, are hosted by Network member cities and are therefore held at locations across the UK. The Network also holds a number of other meetings and events such as sub-network meetings and capacity building events. See our events page for details of upcoming Network meetings and events.
May I use the UK Healthy Cities Network logo on materials I produce?
Once you have demonstrated that your city has met the membership criteria as set out in the Network Terms of Reference via the membership application process you will be eligible to use the UK Healthy Cities Network logo. You will be sent the logo in jpeg format once your application has been confirmed as successful.
Does the Network fund individual towns and cities to undertake Healthy City activity?
No. There is no funding through the UK Healthy Cities Network for individual towns or cities to undertake Healthy City activity.
